關於獎項

新加坡室內設計聯合協會（Interior Design Confederation (Singapore) ，IDC(S））成立於2003，由室內設計師協會（1984）和室內設計師協會（1996）合併而成。該組織代表了新加坡專業室內設計師及室內設計行業。IDC(S)自成立以來，一直活躍於國際，更在2004年成為DesignS的八個創始成員協會之一。IDC(S)在2003年成立之初即設立了「設計卓越獎（Design Excellence Award，DEA）」，打造新加坡及此區域室內設計領域的最高榮耀，並建構出一個國際平台，彰顯室內設計產業的貢獻及價值。2014年，獎項邁入第十屆時，DEA分別增設了兩個獎項類別：為室內設計從業者頒發的「室內設計卓越獎（Interior Design Excellence Award，IDEA）」，以及專為學生空間設計作品頒發的「室內設計大獎（Spatial Design Awards，SPADE）」，旨在表彰優秀的室內設計從業者，並鼓勵學生為室內設計行業注入新血。在2018/2019年，DEA開放接受來自世界各地的室內設計作品報名參賽。

The Interior Design Federation of Singapore (IDCS) was established in 2003 by the merger of the Interior Designers Association (1984) and the Interior Designers Association (1996), representing the interests of professional interior designers in Singapore and the interior design industry. Since 1997, IDCS has been an active member of international, regional and national industry bodies such as the Asia Pacific Space Designers Association (APSDA), and was one of the 8 founding member associations of DesignS in 2004. IDCS is a society registered under the laws of Singapore. Its mission is to take the lead in launching initiatives related to the interior design industry and to strengthen its goals through its four committees, which are supervised by elected board members. IDCS is associated with other leading design agencies (such as APSDA, DesignS, SFIC) and government agencies (such as DSG, IE, STB, BCA, etc.) to carry out various industry-related plans related to design. The IDCS Professional Development Program (PDP) program of the PDP Committee aims to serve and engage with the interior design community in Singapore. Including more than 1,600 interior design companies, more than 800 interior contractors and builders, agencies that provide interior design or related plans, affiliated organizations and government agencies. IDCS’s “Design Excellence Award (DEA)” aims to be a platform to recognize the interior design industry and its institutional landscape with the highest accolades, not only in Singapore but also in the region. DEA will promote and recognize individuals and companies that have made significant contributions to good design ideas and the future of visual space design. Although awards in the interior design industry began in the 1990s, it was not until 2011 that the award was renamed the “Design Excellence Award.” In addition, IDCS cooperates with local and international event organizers such as BEX Asia, Shanghai Design Week, and HKIDA’s APIDA, seeking to cooperate with other interior design agencies in the Asia-Pacific region to improve the level of interior design standards throughout the region. The Design Excellence Award is an interior design competition organized by IDCS in 2003 to recognize and celebrate the best interior design projects in Singapore. In 2014, the “Design Excellence Award” set up two different award categories, one is the “Interior Design Excellence Award (IDEA)” for interior design practitioners, and the second category is for students’ space design works. “Interior Design Awards (SPADE)” aims to reward and commend interior design practitioners and students. In 2018/2019, DEA is open to accept entries for interior design works from all over the world.
